Reason Why We Celebrate Children's day on November 14

Children day is celebrated every year on 14th November across the India since the death of first prime minister of India. Birthday of first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru is also on November 14. Before, Children day was celebrated on 20th November of each year but after the death of first prime minister of India, celebration day was changed to their birthday date i.e. November 14. First PM of India is very attached with the children and he believe that children are the real strength of the country and future of nation.

Children day is celebrated to increase awareness of children education, rights since children are the foundation and future of the country. Children day is celebrated with full enjoy in School and other institute across India. On this day, children are showered with blessing, love and gifts. In many school, management organise stage show performance and programme to celebrate Children day with fun and entertainment.

Parent also make their favourite dishes and also join with them in outdoor and indoor activities of the child. Social media is also flourishing with blessing and showered to the children by updating status, post and speech for children on the occasion of children day.
