Dang forest is one among the Masterpiece of Flora and Fauna. We, five gym friends, planned to visit the Mahal area in Dang forest. In every group, one among friend always has some reasons and scheme for not joining the trip gang. We made phone calls, texts, video calls from WhatsApp, Insta and FB but no replies at all. Finally, four friends departed for the Trip from Surat. First arranged the food from the city and left the hustle and bustle of the town at noon.
The Climate was warm even in the monsoon season. No chance of rain. We felt the climate of the forest would be also hot. We entered into the jungle nearly at 1:30 pm. First, hold in Jungle, was for the photoshoot at beautiful views of River, Road and dense greenery. After full on the enjoyment of Journey, we reached out destination 'Mahal', a part of the Purna Wildlife Sanctuary. As we thought, the climate in the forest was too hot and humid. We decided to go to a waterfall lying within the dense jungle, 2 km from the approached Road. With the assistance of a local boy, we started the trek towards biodiversity dense forest. We plugged into the depth of the Mahal forest. We crossed the River having floating water below the leg knee. View of River surrounded by rock, greenery and mountain was so beautiful. Sun is on the top and trekking on Hill and rock also making too tired but enjoying. one among the buddies who always has no interest feelings became awful. He was thinking about why I came.
Finally, after moderate trekking we have reached almost the waterfall. it had been a spectacular view of the autumn and surrounding which refreshed us and switch our mood. Visitors enjoying the views and a few bathing under the waterfall. We three friends decided to bath under chill water after ensuring no risk in the bath since the water level is max at half the body. one among the friend as was common, not interested in any activity, seated on the rock and not came for a bath. We told him to take care of our clothes and belongings. We dived into the water and enjoyed the bath under the natural shower of the waterfall. Here Flora and Fauna become the real Jungle, what most perceived.
Suddenly the sun hideout behind the cloud and hot climate became mild cool which further increased the energy for more leisure. The wind began to blow speedily. Thunder, dense cloud, lightning and darkness during afternoon indicated a sign of heavy rain. The rain started falling which increased the level of water and flow too. We immediately pulled out of the water. Beautiful waterfall became a dangerous flow of water. Now we had to surpass the fastest flow of water. What we had seen a friend who seated on rock run away without taking clothes and other things. most vital the key of car was with the cloths. aside from us, around 25 visitors including children are their. The local guides had led the group and helped to cross the water body and find new ways to reach the approached road. Rain speed was increased and water level too. Now, the trip became more adventurous and thrilled.
Everyone afraid and wondering about the way to reach on the road. Thunder sound and brighter lightening making the science scary. Now we reached a neutral spot where we were unable to go return or forward. The local boys had decided to climb a breathtaking mountain. However, the risk of the landslide was their. But no other choices so we started hiking. I and one mate started helping the visitors and child who were unable to climb. After hardcore efforts we climbed the mountain. Now we felt relief since we were safe and out of the dangerous water level. All visitors stand silently and goes bump. Slowly new ways were founds and God grace rain also stopped. Now the climate was super cool. After tough trekking we reached the approached road. What we had seen their water level was that high which entered into the car and disappeared too from the road within a brief time. Fortunately, the car was started and we felt relaxed. this is how our leisure trip of forest became an adventurous trip.
