Pachmarhi is the famous hill station of Madhya Pradesh known by "Satpura Ki Rani" i.e. Queen of Satpura. The Nearest Railway station is Pipariya, 50 km away from Pachmarhi. Bhopal Airport is the nearest Airport from the Pachmarhi. This hill station is the part of Satpura National Park and situated at an altitude of 11800 feet above the sea level in Satpura range which keeps the place cool. This beautiful hill station is discovered by Britisher James Forsyth in 1857.
This Place is also listed in Unesco Biosphere Reserve for it Flora and Fauna. It is also said that Pandava during Vanvas stayed here in Pachmarhi caves. Pachmarhi has also a treasure of waterfall felt from a height of 351 ft which among the highest waterfall of India. Dhoopgrah is the highest point of the Pachmarhi having hight of 14600 feet called "Hathi Sikhar".
