Waterfalls near Surat visit during Monsoon!

Monsoon brings the greenery by adding more beauty to nature. Monsoon is the perfect time for nature lovers to visit the waterfall. There are many waterfalls in forest area near the Surat where one can escape from the hurtle and bustle of everyday hectic life and spent time with nature to relax and refresh. 

Gira Waterfall

Gira Waterfalls is situated 113 KMs away from Surat city around 2 hrs drive. The fall has around 70 feet height falling in Ambica River. The fall is located 3 KMs away from Waghai, Dang.

Monsoon Gateway near Surat

This waterfall is considered as most visited waterfall near Surat since it is located on Vansada Saputara Road. Best time to visit the waterfall is monsoon season. Swimming in waterfall is not safe, so its advise to enjoy view only. The fall is little crowded during the holidays in monsoon.

Girmal Waterfall

Girmal Waterfall is located near Girmal in Purna Wildlife Sanctuary, 144 KMs away from Surat. Waterfall is surrounded by dense forest which look so picturesque.

Ninai Waterfall

This breathtaking waterfall is formed near Dediapada village of Narmada district, Gujarat. it is 155 KMs far away from Surat. This is also a good place for picnic especially during monsoon season. Dense forest and greenery make the waterfall more scenic.

One has to climb 150 stairs to reach the waterfall. Crowded during the monsoon season. Few snack stall are their, so before reaching the waterfall, arrange the food from own.

Zarwani Waterfall

This seasonal waterfall is situated in the shoolpaneshwar sanctuary of Narmada district. Waterfall is located 160 KMs far away from Surat.

In addition to waterfalls nearby other attraction are statue of Unity, Sardar Sarovar Dam, Eco campsite and Shoolpaneshwar Temple. During the monsoon waterfalls view is picturesque.

Devghat Waterfall

Small but eye catching waterfall situated beside the shoolpaneshwar sanctuary near Umarpada, Gujarat. Distance from Surat to Devghat is 105 KMs.

Mahal Waterfall

Mahal Waterfall is located before the Mahal Eco Campsite, 115 Kms away from Surat. Mahal Waterfall is seasonal waterfall best in Monsoon. Small waterfall falling near the Songadh - Ahwa Road. For another beautiful waterfall is formed in the forest near Mahalkot. One has to trek around 2 Kms in forest to reach the waterfall.

Vangan waterfall locally also known as Ankda Dodh is situated at Vangan village near Vansda. it is not a single waterfall but layer of 2-3 waterfall. one has to track for 2 Kms from parking to reach waterfall. this waterfall is also worth visit place during monsoon season.
