Laxman Jhula
Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge on Ganga River and one of the Landmark of the Town. The bridge is 450 fts long and have two pole on both side of the River built in 1939. There is a scenic view of the Town from hanging bridge. As per legend, Laxman crossed the River Ganges by Jute rope and at same place the bridge has been built.
Triveni Ghat
The Sangam of three River i.e. Ganaga, Jamana and Sarasvati, is a holy place of Rishikesh for bathing. it is belief that the person who take shower on Triveni Ghat washed away all the sins and have relief from the sins carried out. There are thousands of visitors visit the Ghat for bath and attend morning and evening Aarti.
Bharat Mandir
Bharat Temple is built by Guru Shankra Charya in 12th Century. The Bharat Temple is situated in the middle of the old town and on the bank of River Ganaga. During the excavation in Temple, many objects such as ornamental bricks, Idol were found and kept in Museum near Temple.
Ram Jhula
This hanging bridge is situated 3 Kms from the Rishikesh. The Iron suspension bridge is one of the landmark of Rishikesh. The Suspension bridge over the holy River Ganaga has the length of 450 feet and connecting Shivananada Ashram and Sawargashram.
Trayambkeshwar Temple
The Temple is 13 stories high, situated on the east bank of Ganaga near the Laxman Jhula.Neelkanth Mahadev Temple
Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is located around 12 KMs from the Rishikesh. It is said that the Temple is situated at the place where Lord Shiva has consumed the Poisson rise out from Samundra Manthan.
Swarga Ashram
The Ashram is situated on the eastern side of River Ganga and near to Laxman Jhula. The Ashram provides course on Yoga, spiritual studies etc.Vashista Goofa
Vashista Goofa is situated in outskirt of the Rishikesh around one hour drive. It is said that famous saint Vashista meditated here on the bank of River Ganga. The Cave is very peaceful and perfect place for meditation.
Gita Bhavan, Parmarth Niketan, Beatles Ashram, waterfalls etc are other attraction in Rishikesh.
