High Speed Bullet Train in India

Dream of Journey in Bullet Train is going to happen in India. Bullet Train will create a new speedy way to travel in India. National High-speed Rail Corporation Limited is implementing India's first project of High-Speed Bullet Train. The high-speed Train will run between Ahmedabad to Mumbai. The proposed Bullet Train covers the 508 KMs. Out of which 350 KMs route fall in Gujarat, 155 KMs Route fall under Maharashtra and remaining in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The proposed high-speed train route will pass from 3 District in Maharashtra, 8 District in Gujarat and a small one in Dadra Nagar Haveli.

The Starting Points of the Train are Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai and Sabarmati Railway Station in Ahmedabad. The proposed bullet train corridor has Total 12 stations i.e. Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Nadiad or Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Bilimora, Vapi, Boisar, Virar, Thane, Mumbai. The present running train between Ahmedabad to Mumbai cover the distance in 7 hours. The proposed high-speed train will cover the same distance in 2 hours. The proposed bullet train will have a maximum speed of 350 KMs per hour.

Each Station of the Bullet Train Corridor will have the design and the theme based on the famous things of the City. The Estimated Project cost of the proposed bullet train corridor will be above INR 1 Trillion.

The Project has been also funded by Soft Loan from Japan. The Proposed Bullet Train Project will be completed by 2022. However, there are many hurdles associated with the project including land acquisition.
