Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 'statue of unity' is open for tourist. The Statue is situated at near Sardar Sarovar Dam, Narmada Dist, Gujarat around 200 KMs from Ahemedabad & 155 KMs from Surat. Foundation stone of the project was laid down by then chief minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi on 31st October, 2013, birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
