Rakshabandhan is a holy festival in India. It is symbol of faith with love and show bonding between Brother and Sister. This article highlight Some of interesting things about upcoming Rakshabandhan festival.

One of the Sweet shop in Surat, Gujarat is coming up with the Sweet rated around Rs.9000/- per KG for upcoming Rakshabandhan festival. Sweets are covered with pure gold leaf. Shop is getting very good response from city. Ordinary silver leaf is used to cover-up sweet the rate of which ranging from Rs.300 to 900 per KG depending upon the type of the sweets. Shop namely 24 Carat Sweet has executed their idea and made Gold Sweet.

Rakhi festival will be celebrated on 26th August 2018. Rakshabandhan date is veries each year. Generally it celebrates on shravan poornima which is full moon day of Shravan month. Few Public of Surat city celebrates the festival on day after shravan poornima. It is believe that more then 100 of years ago one of the Boat full of people was capsized in Tapi River on shravan poornima.

Amarnath yatra is also end on the day of Shravan poornima. Rakshabandhan festival is also connected with belief of lord Krishna and Dropadi. Once Lord Krishna cut his arm finger unknowingly and was bleeding continue. Dropadi as seeing bleeding, without a single moment delay, tore off part of sarees and bandaged lord Krishna's finger. This peace of sarees later became endless sarees and save Dropadi from vstraharan.

It is also believe that Indrani tied thread to Indra while they departed for war. Later on tradition is changed and thread was tied by Sister to the Brothers.

Rakshabandhan is celebrated not only in India but also in Nepal, UAE, Srilanka and USA.
